Just back from a lovely weekend at the Chieftain. Rooms were spotless and spacious. Plenty tea,coffee etc. if we needed anymore it wasn’t a problem to ask and top it up. Extremely doggy friendly infact would say the best we’ve had plus your …

Had the Friday fish tea offer ,was delicious .staff so friendly ,lovely bar area with sofa and fire to sit and enjoy a glass of wine .away from the dining area place . easy to find on main road and has free parking

Came here to watch the football one night. Really great pub. The sports bar is great with plenty of tellys. Great selection of beers.

We stayed for 1 night and this is a wonderful wee hotel and even better they accept dogs we went with our 2 wee chihuahuas. Food and service was absolutely fantastic and breakfast was amazing best we have had in a long time and we have stayed in some hotels in Inverness where food has let them down. Room was comfortable bed a bit too hard but it did the job . We will be back to stay again loved it . Thanks Liz and staff and your chef don't leave lol 😆 your food is amazing.

Played a gig here for a private function...staff were excellent...premises are excellent...menu is great...don't know about the rooms but I imagine they are good too going by the rest of the venue....really great place.

I booked the Cheiftan for my uncle's 60th birthday dinner. Food was delicious 😋. Excellent service. The atmosphere was great too. And it was kid and dog friendly which makes things a lot easier for many people!

If you want a Fawlty Towers experience, I thoroughly recommend this hotel. I made the mistake of asking why our room hadn't been serviced and was greeted by a visibly furious owner who went completely bananas that a guest would dare to ask such a question. Don't mention the war.
